Job Duties: Ensure optimum information access and application performance and integrity. Ensure consistency and synchronization across EMC's server platform and integrate other application components. Ensure application performance optimization and maintenance by writing and following operational procedures for maintaining and upgrading applications. Lead the design of the application platform HLA including application servers and infrastructure. Define performance test cases and various use case scenarios. Troubleshoot testing issues, analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues at any/all level of the application, platform and infrastructure areas. Analyze data critical to capacity forecasting, asset management, and procurement. Use data to assist IT manager and IT senior management with planning and reporting.
Job Requirements: Master's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a closely related field such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems. Foreign equivalent degrees are accepted. In addition to degree, must have at least two years of experience gained at any time in all of the following: maintaining and administering SAP applications in a Linux/Unix and relational Databases Oracle/HANA/SybaseASE environment including configuring, analyzing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting ABAP and Java stacks; responsible for overall SAP applications and database health check including memory, storage, file systems and performance; configuring and tuning databases, applications, and web tiers for an SAP enterprise applications suite (ERP, BW, CRM, BPC, Portal, SRM, SLT, BOBJ, and/or Fiori and Solution Manager); designing, configuring, and administering SAP In-Memory HANA Databases; performing platform capacity gathering and upgrades; diagnosing, troubleshooting, and analyzing issues and resolving SAP applications, databases, or other network and system problems; administering and managing SAP systems, security policies, practices, standards, and directions to protect data, software, and hardware.
