DUTIES: Design, implement, and support operational and Business Intelligence reporting including universe design, development and global support for users. Ensure that technical deliverables meets IT implementation standards. Support EMC customer service functional team requests and identify complex problems via data analysis to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Meet with Business Objects reporting consumers to determine ongoing requirements independently. Work with cross-functional user and technical teams. Translate requirements into database and universe design enhancements. Create ad-hoc queries and advanced reporting ability by using Web Intelligence. Clearly define and apply best practices for performance and usability of universe. Act as the quality gate for all application/project changes and as the escalation point for production issues. Tune the queries to ensure good performance against universe. Understand the ETL requirements and implement the requirements as needed. Work with various backend databases to effectively present high performance visualizations. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Comp. Sci., Engineering, Sciences(any), Business, Math, or related technical field. 24 months experience in job offered or computer-related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Greenplum; 2) Informatica ETL; 3) SAP Dashboards/BW/BI/BusinessObjects (Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, CMC, CCM, Information Design Tool, Universe Design Tool) and Dashboards; 4) Oracle and SQL Server databases; 5) QaaWS; 6) SharePoint; and 7) Instance Manager. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
EOEEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
