They are currently on the hunt for a Systems Administrator with strong Mac and Windows experience. The ideal candidate has had experience with both Mac and PC desktops and servers / infrastructure.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on Mac and Window systems
Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems
Sets up administrator and service accounts
Maintains system documentation
Makes recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backup recovery
Provides advice and training to end-users
WHAT YOU NEED:
Experience managing and configuring Mac operating system, performing software and OS installs and managing system preferences
Experience with both Mac and PC workstations and laptops
Ability to manipulate files between Windows 7 and Mac platforms
Experience troubleshooting network hardware and software components, installing network adapters and drivers and configuring TCP/IP Mac clients
Some understanding of Ethernet hubs, switches and connectivity
Ideally has experience with Microsoft Office for Mac and Windows, Adobe Creative Suite and VMware Fusion
Solid experience managing and manipulating fonts, installing print drivers and working with graphic file formats
