Duties:
Support the business process and information technology needs required by EMC to meet their operational, tactical and strategic objectives by providing the following services. Assist in gathering, documenting and clarifying business requirements. Create functional designs using a disciplined application implementation methodology. Translate system requirements into unit and functional test scripts. Execute unit test scripts, and support function and user acceptance testing. Provide training to end users and create end-user documentation. Assist project managers in identifying tasks and developing project plans. Lead cross functional business and technical teams to deliver the selected solution. Assist project managers in the execution of project tasks and communicate issues and status in a timely manner. Represent IT as the principal technical contact and perform technical project leadership role. Accountable for leading SAP projects and providing necessary support to ensure company and department goals are met. Must work under minimal direction and exercise considerable latitude and provide technical expertise in developing business solutions, and should have Strong analytical skills combined with a sense of urgency. Ability to self-manage and lead multiple projects within tight timeframes and dynamic priorities and estimate the cost and time to implement complex enterprise level solutions. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Requirements:
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field, followed by seven years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or seven years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a computer-related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Configuration & process experience in SAP Material Management (MM); Inventory Management (IM); Warehouse Management (WM); SAP Logistic Execution (LE) and SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) applications. 2) Data management tools and technologies, including WinShuttle / LSMW and also builds queries in SAP. 3) Implementing methodologies like SDLC/ ASAP. 4) System Design, Configuration, Customization, Integration, Testing and Support in SAP applications. 5) RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms and Workflow) and ABAP de-bug skills. 6) Implementing EDI standard solutions. 7) Cross functional knowledge in areas like SAP FI/ PP. 8) SAP Technical Infrastructure including table definitions, user exists and i-docs.
Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
