Job Duties: Execute projects and be accountable for successful technical implementation of business software applications. Coordinate internal IT processes and resources in order to successfully deploy new solutions to the business. Oversee and participate in the development and unit testing of solutions as specified in the Technical Design and obtain code reviews from appropriate technical staff. Offer proposed design changes/suggestions to processes and applications. Make performance and capacity recommendations to the application and infrastructure teams. Define/refine metrics used to assess application performance and utilization. Participate in the architectural and design meetings and provide the technical expertise to the teams. Enforce coding standards and best practices. Own project releases (monthly and quarterly) and participate in developing release plan documents and work plans/schedules for each release. Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and unit test plan reviews.
Job Requirements: Masters Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related field such as Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems. Three years of post-degree experience in all of the following: designing and programming in Java, J2EE, JVM Internals, spring, and hibernate; developing Rich User Interface applications with cross browser compatibilities using AJAX tools, JavaScript Frameworks (ExtJs and JQuery) and UI Technologies (HTML, JavaScript and CSS); developing Mobile first responsive, adaptive experiences using responsive web design tools HTML5 and CSS3; programming in PHP, Apache, and Zend Frameworks; designing and developing search solutions using Google Search Appliance (GSA) and Autonomy; performing Search Engine Optimization utilizing Google Site Search (GSS); designing large-scale business applications with the Content Architecture utilizing Documentum and FatWire Content Management Systems; designing database solutions by performing data analysis, data modeling, data integrations, and SQL development; working in enterprise-grade software projects by applying proper SOA methodologies; and, programming in build tools Maven, Ant, Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins and Hudson), and Junit.
